Where Is Harmony? (An Update)

UPDATE: The affidavit in the second-degree murder case against Harmony’s father, Adam Montgomery, has been unsealed. There is a long chain of testimony from Adam’s ex-wife Kayla (who is probably seeking a plea deal as an accessory to the crime) detailing how Harmony was accidentally killed in a fit of rage by Adam while in their car, then her body was stuffed into some kind of zippered bag and carted around from one temporary living location to another for some months and kept in refrigerators, freezers and coolers before Adam finally disposed of it. It’s beginning to look like the “Baggage Car” premise in this reading is referring to the fact that she wound up as nondescript “luggage” that would not excite any curiosity. Lacking a body, this is all hearsay evidence from Kayla’s statement, but the final observation that Harmony could be “six feet under” is looking more-and-more likely.

Author’s Note: Although I try to refrain from posting twice in one day, I wanted to get this out before anything breaks in the case.

Seven-year-old Harmony Montgomery of Manchester, NH hasn’t been seen since 2019. The Manchester Police Department has just issued a missing-person alert, but there is something very strange going on here. One press release stated that “police are not searching for any adult or vehicle in connection with the case,” while another made no mention of that fact. There was no indication of why it took over two years to realize that she is unaccounted for, or whether she has concerned parents or relatives who reported her missing, although police say they have been “in contact with multiple family members.” This looked like a perfect opportunity to apply my battery of missing-person spreads.

The first spread I’m using here is my “Train To Nowhere” missing-person layout. It uses an “antique locomotive” motif with an engine and twelve compartments or “cars” showing possible locations for the absent individual. The position holding the Significator card reveals the most likely place to look.

I used the Princess of Wands to represent blonde-haired, blue-eyed Harmony in this reading. That significator card showed up in the seventh car of the train, titled “Baggage Car,” the caption for which reads “In a nondescript location; kept with others.” The immediate impression I get from this result is that she is being held in some kind of faceless “safe-house” with other victims of what can only by a child-molestation ring.

As we can see, the significator appeared in the middle of the sub-pack, suggesting that she is being “kept close” with little hope of escape or rescue. The card at the top of the pile was the Prince of Cups, a very slippery young man by all accounts and probably the mastermind behind the ring (or at least the one who kidnapped Harmony). The next card, the 7 of Wands reversed, I’m reading as showing that Harmony has been stripped of all dignity. The Princess of Wands (significator) also turned up reversed, a further sign of repression. The card above the significator was the Queen of Wands, implying an imperious and ill-tempered “house-mother” who has control of a stable of young girls (or at the very least of Harmony herself). The Empress reversed makes me think she sees herself as some kind of perverted “Mother-archetype.” The last card (suggestively at the bottom of the pile), the 6 of Disks reversed, indicts that some serious “digging” will be required to unearth Harmony’s whereabouts; if this card resurfaces in future readings on this topic, I may be forced to resort to the unfortunate “six feet under” metaphor I’ve used for it in the past.

This spread only takes a stab at a possible location; other spreads in the series will give a better feeling for the missing individual’s current state of being and likelihood of recovery.
