The “Stones in My Passway” Situational Spread

Here is another “tricksy” (pardon me, I’m channeling my “inner Gollum”) situational spread that employs a redirected flow, this time according to elemental assignments and their “active” or “passive” nature. All of the explanatory text and instructions are included in the spread graphic.

This spread is not all that different from reading a straight multi-card line, except that some cards will visually dip into the “passive” lane and represent a potential bogging-down of progress, especially if they are already deliberate by nature. This might be a good spread with which to use Elemental Dignities since it can be broken down into several three-card groups. This could emphasize either the “active” or “passive” components, increasing or decreasing their potency. Here is a previous essay that explains my take on EDs:
